About Denihan

Denihan has a rich history that is only possible from a century-old, fourth generation family business.  Founded by Irish immigrant B.J. Denihan in 1915 as an exclusive dry cleaning business on Manhattan’s Upper East Side, Denihan began to diversify in the late 1950s, acquiring and building New York City ‘apartment hotels’ and becoming one of the earliest U.S. owners and operators of boutique and extended stay properties.  Read more about the company’s fascinating history, its current leadership and how it has evolved into one of the nation’s premiere players in the boutique hospitality sector.
